Another "Dry Your Eyes"

Everytime I hear The Streets "Dry Your Eyes" I get a lump in my throat, it's such a nakedly emotional sob story you'd have to be a pretty cold fish not to get a little blubbery over it. OK I admit it, I'm a big girl's blouse. Here's a completely different "Dry Your Eyes" which is no less touching and even more lovely. Brenda and The Tabulations were a Philly soul group who had several medium-sized hits in the 60s and 70s of which this gorgeous ballad was the biggest in 1967. I can't be arsed to do a whole biographical rundown on them but if you want to know more I'm sure you can use Google just as well as I do. A couple of their albums are available on CD but I can't vouch for those not having heard them, though two tracks you should definately keep an ear out for are "Right On The Tip Of My Tongue" and "One Girl Too Late."
