One of the best newborn pictures I've ever seen.

I'm guessing she already has you wrapped around her little finger.

What a beautiful girl! Congratulations, and may she provide sweet posting inspiration (after she learns to sleep through the night, that is).

Yer blog's alright like, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it was beautiful. BTW, what's with the picture of the old fart holding a baby?

Congratulations!

It's the way they fix you with their eyes. Something so small but straight away you are putty in their hands.

It's been a good week for you.
Now for the name - Didi maybe?

It's an amazing thing, looking into those little eyes and having her look back at you.

Well, you're off on an adventure, and there's absolutely nothing like it. Prepare to be permanently amazed.

Good luck with the sleeping thing.

nice job lee!

i really love your blog. awesome stuff. i am hard pressed to find someone who spins this stuff in chicago. anyways do you have the song 'yes it's you' or know where i could find it? i know the english band the chimes covered it in the late 80's. maybe the original would be fit for a post.

Congratulations. I've never met you, and I mostly just grab the songs and read your notes, but this post really got me. As it happens I just lost my father, as it happens also at 68, also unexpectedly of a heart attack. I remember reading about your loss of your father last year here, and cannot hear "That's the way love is" without thinking of those posts from last joy. To share your sorrow so deeply also means that I find joy in your joy, and in the hope I can do the same thing one day. Congratulations, and thanks for setting a good example.

Congratulations! After getting so much good music from you, i feel like I know you (the net is a strange thing, isn't it?). Maybe someday she will meet with my 10 month old girl, and discuss about their crazy dads, and their love for music!

Congratulations Lee - she's a doll!

I found this blog by googling "soul music". There's a new blue-eyed soul singer whose album is debuting Dec. 5th, 2006. His name is "Taylor Hicks." Check out his website:

www.taylorhicks.com

his blog: www.graycharles.com

It was Chris Salmon, the Music Editor for Time Out.

You can read more of his stuff if you search:

Belated congratulations! She looks lovely. As a father of a three yesr old girl (and a one month old boy) I can safely say that you are in for a lot of hard work, but also a lot of... how can I put this... the sort of happiness that can't really be measured in a normal day-to-day sort of way. Didn't really put that very well. Anyway, all the very best to you!
