Download: This House (12" version) - Big Sound Authority (mp3)

I'm still amazed that this brilliant, brilliant record wasn't a monster hit but it only got to #21 in 1985. I always thought Big Sound Authority was a great name for a band too. Sadly they split up a year after this was released which doesn't surprise me, if I'd recorded something as fantastic as this only to see it fail to make the Top 20 I'd want to throw in the towel too.

Crying shame that their An Inward Revolution album has never been issued on compact disc.

The only time BSA have appeared on CD is an early track titled History of the World, from a compilation of singles issued on Paul Weller's Respond record label.

Cheers for posting this 12"

I love the full length version. Did the 12 have the extra tracks that the 7 double pack came with? Miss My Baby, Soul Man and Hands Of Love? Don't suppose there's any chance if it did...

Miss My Baby in particular I loved.
