Something for the weekend

I once saw Errol Brown coming out of the Gents in a nightclub and I think I was so surprised by how small he was I forgot to get down on my knees and give praise to him for incredible records like this.

Donds re the Sisters version! Fantastic band – even when as spotty schoolkid trying to be 'punk' & cool – Hot Chocolate still hit the spot & Errol Brown = godlike genius :-) Thanks for the vid

The main problem with "Emma" was that it was such a killer tune that Hot Chocolate, to my mind, never really equalled it.

It had a really spare, spooky sound…you could just tell it was going to end in tears.

Anyone ever think that this Emma was a deluded narcissist? Maybe she was a crap actress and these people telling she was going to be a star were just bullshitting her for the sake of her fragile self-esteem.

No, it is probably best not to get down on your knees in front of anyone outside a men's room, even if it's Errol Brown.
