I am a great admirer of Bill Drummond (one of the masterminds behind the KLF). He is one of Britain’s great eccentrics, and has written several great books. If you want a great read, buy ’45′ a semi-autobiographical read which features a few stories about the KLF, and ’17′ the story behind his latest choir based project. Both really good books. In an earlier incarnation he was the manager of The Teardrop Explodes and Echo and the Bunnymen. Julian Cope’s book about The Teardrop Explodes – Head-on, is another great read (and comes packaged now with its sequel – Repossessed)
