I know. I almost didn’t post this as I half thought it was cheapening the song a little. But, shorts aside, it is a cracking performance of it.
New Order : The Club Tropicana Years.
When I was at school, New Order were my friend’s favourite band. We went to see them play at Brixton Academy (1989), and my friend shouted out “Get your tits out” at Peter Hook (his all-time hero). Hooky responded by bending down and twisting my friend’s nose before pushing his head down with his motorcycle boot – all mid-song. My friend never bought another New Order record.
