The Sadness


Some days I’m really, really bothered by the fact that these two aren’t around to see their grandchildren. Most days actually.

    Having seen the few photos of your mum on your site, she seemed to get younger as time went on….wish I knew her secret.

  7. I know how you feel; I’d like to think my mum would have been pleased to have a granddaughter who shares her name. My dad died when I was four, so I couldn’t help feeling some relief when I lived through my younger daughter’s fifth and sixth birthday – every year past four is a year more they’ll have with their dad.
