   I presume you listen to 6Music (judging by some of your posts) – Don’t know if you caught today’s news on the S&M (hmmm) show that St. E had a new album coming out. Free download of first single at http://www.saintetienne.com/

   Of course, you’re probably a fan club member judging by the depth of their catalog in your collection.

   Listen to it occasionally (Jarvis Cocker’s show mostly) but I didn’t know about that (I used to be a fan club member), thanks for the heads up. New St. Et!

   I always thought Propaganda were one of the best band’s on ZTT, if not THE best. Nearly 30 years later, and I still listen to that record…

   I love ‘A secret wish’ by Propaganda, one of my favourite albums ever. There are actually 2 completely different versions of this album. The vinyl and cassette release, which are brilliant and collected on the 25th anniversary edition CD and the 1986 CD which came out a few months after the record, and is a re-edited recorded easy listening remix of the album. It’s awful. Yes, they were the best band on ZTT, and their 12″ collection “Outside World” is great too.
