  1. The Dual at the bottom was my second-to-last turntable, replaced with another Dual that currently sits mothballed in the basement. I don’t like to get nostalgic about vinyl, but it seems to me that I actually listened to music a lot more intently then than I do now, with tens of thousands of songs and a half dozen digital players.

  2. I sold all these turntables in retail which scares me for some reason. The only keeper in the group is the Dual 1219. The Beogram is impossible to keep aligned or even working, and the ADC Accutrac was not nicknamed the “Accucrap” for nothing.
