The first photo of the 2 girls reminds of my 1st school disco in 1964. I was 13. It was both inspirational and traumatic.
The next one down reminds me of travelling on a train from Aberdeen to London for a Scotland v England game at Wembley (we lost) in the early 1980’s. My mate Mitch & me were sat in a 1st class compartment early morning – a tartan scarf tied to each wrist – swigging lager and whisky and contemplating breakfast.
A very well-bred lady sitting across the aisle from us asked: “Is there a football match on somewhere?” Quick as a flash, Mitch replied: “No – we’re just off to a Bay City Rollers fans convention.”
I almost wet myself laughing.

those top girls are just the girls of walmer bridge village hall discos damn near perfectly 1980 very possibly 81 82 i’m rubbish at these things . it’s the blusher. never was there a time so defined by blusher.
